People describe me as cordial, open, empathetic, calm and practical. I am therefore happy to offer you guidance in which you can fully be yourself and help you find opportunities that you have not seen before.
I adjusted from the moment my mother died when I was 6. My father raised me further. And because he also worked as a manager in a shop all day, I had to do the housework together with my sister, in addition to school and homework. Not because we wanted to, but because it was necessary. And I also adjusted at school to avoid being bullied.
Given my history, I stand by the fact that you don’t have to adapt to a job. You need to be able to be yourself as much as possible and feel safe. Even in our coach conversations. I listen to you, understand you, and empathize with what you need. In doing so, I remain practical and will not lose sight of our goal.
My background is in IT, (financial) administration and accountancy. My concern for the other and great adaptability have ensured that I have had 10 jobs myself and have done a lot of training. Because it took me a while to realize that I was constantly adapting to what my employers or environment needed. No one – including myself – really listened to what I really wanted!
That made me never really happy in my work. I now offer you a nice job that suits you and in which your possibilities fully come into their own.
I then discovered that I wanted to work more people-oriented. First, I worked as a team coach for two years, where I coached people on cooperation and job satisfaction. And eventually I discovered that my real passion is personal and career coaching.
I use methods such as Nonviolent Communication, Transactional Analysis, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Values as a guide and Systemic working.
Now that I work as a coach, I notice that I work more from my feelings and intuition. That’s so wonderful! It no longer feels like I have to do my best, but rather wonderfully free and easy. I can also completely express my helpfulness in this. And I am extra happy if I can help you with a new insight or if you have taken another step towards your goal.
